Mendy Rosenberg
Mendy Rosenberg was a person whose warmth, kindness, and gentle demeanor left an impression on everyone who knew him. A devoted husband and father, a dedicated Hatzalah member, and someone who was always ready to do a chesed for another person, Mendy lived his life quietly giving to others.
For more than a decade, Mendy battled ALS. As the disease gradually took away so much physically, it never took away who Mendy was. His determination, his emunah, and his commitment to Torah remained remarkably strong.
Even through the tremendous challenges of ALS, Mendy continued learning the Daf and reached the extraordinary milestone of completing Shas. His accomplishment was recognized at the Siyum HaShas — a powerful testament to his perseverance and to what mattered most to him.
Mendy’s Legacy Fund was created to carry that spirit forward. Having witnessed firsthand the enormous emotional and financial burden that a prolonged illness places on an entire family, we wanted Mendy’s life of chesed to continue by helping other families facing similar circumstances.
Mendy spent his life helping others. Today, in his memory, we continue that chesed.
Our mission
Mendy's Legacy Fund helps families whose primary breadwinner can no longer work due to serious illness. Created in memory of Mendy Rosenberg, we provide ongoing monthly support for essential living expenses, allowing families to focus on what matters most — caring for their loved one with dignity and peace of mind.
